Jeff Klagenberg is a self-taught photographer who took his first picture with an Instamatic camera thirty years ago. With a degree in physics and a career in technology, one may wonder how photography fits into the “picture” for this Moss Beach, CA resident. Jeff states, “All involve careful observation, understanding the underlying complexities, and communicating otherwise hidden relationships.”
When taking pictures, Jeff studies a location, focuses on the smallest piece of the scene, and captures what makes it special for him. Michael Kellicutt, Coastal Arts League executive member, states: “The resulting ‘abstract of nature’ mesmerizes because of brilliant colors, thought-provoking subject matter, peacefulness, or intensity".
Jeff's work can be found in over 50 private collections worldwide and at the Coastal Arts League in Half Moon Bay California.
